Why is physical activity important to conclude that you are actually fit or not and what factors take you to next level of fitness and why not weighing scale pointer is right to judge this?

Physical activity includes the full spectrum of human movements – from the usual activities related to everyday life, physical exercise associated to various forms of recreation and entertainment or hobbies, to participation in sports training and competitions. Physical activity encompasses all activities, at any intensity, performed during any time of day or night. Participating in physical activity is beneficial to people of all ages. Lack of physical activity is associated with a range of negative health outcomes whereas increased physical activity can improve physical as well as mental health. Physical activity contributes to fitness, a state in which people’s health characteristics and behaviors enhance the quality of their lives. Active people generally live longer and are at less risk for serious health problems like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and some cancers. A minimum of 30 minutes a day can allow you to enjoy these benefits.

There are at least eight investments that work to increase population-level physical activity, including whole-of-school programs, active transport, active urban design, healthcare, public education and mass media, sport for all, workplaces and community-wide programs. For people with chronic diseases, physical activity can help manage these conditions and complications. The term “physical activity” describes many forms of movement, including activities that involve the large skeletal muscles. Physical activity or exercise can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing several diseases like type 2 diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease. Physical activity and exercise can have immediate and long-term health benefits. Most importantly, regular activity can improve your quality of life. Physical activity refers to all movement.

Popular ways to be active include walking, cycling, wheeling, sports, active recreation and play, and can be done at any level of skill and for enjoyment by everybody. Physical activity can be defined as any movement of the body that requires energy expenditure. This includes any motion you do through the day excluding sitting still or lying down. Exercise is a type of physical activity but not every physical activity is exercise. Exercise is a planned, structured, and repetitive activity for the purpose of improving or maintain physical fitness. Start, instead, by building a solid foundation, and for my female clients, that means focusing on their hip area and core, which includes your abs and back.

These muscle groups combine to form the powerhouse of the female body, so any strength-building workout for women should target them both. In general, sedentary behavior involves any time when you are sitting or lying down, but you should keep in mind that scrolling through your phone, watching TV, working on a computer, video game playing, driving, and reading are sedentary behavior too.

Benefits of Regular Physical Activity

If you are regularly physically active, you may:

  1. Reduce your risk of a heart attack
  2. Manage your weight better
  3. Lowers blood cholesterol level
  4. Lower the risk of type 2 diabetes and some cancers
  5. Have stronger bones, muscles and joints and lower risk of developing osteoporosis
  6. Lower your risk of falls
  7. Recover better from periods of hospitalization or bed rest feel better – with more energy, a better mood, feel more relaxed and sleep better.

Increases in daily activity can come from small changes made throughout your day, such as walking or cycling instead of using the car, getting off a tram, train or bus a stop earlier and walking the rest of the way, or walking the children to school.  It contributes to the development of basic skills and musculoskeletal system during the years of childhood and adolescence, maintains muscle strength and bone condition, improves the cardiovascular and respiratory systems throughout life. In the elderly, regular movement helps people maintain their health, mobility and functional independence, promoting active participation in public life.

Physical activity plays a particularly important role in the rehabilitation of chronic diseases and is one of the essential elements of a healthy lifestyle. That's why you can’t depend on the weight scale for a precise appraisal of your health. Your weight is always fluctuating and I’ve seen my weight change up to 6 pounds in a single day.  19가이드03  You may have basically worked out seriously and have lost water weight or you may have quite recently eaten a portion of meal and the additional weight is appearing in the food in your stomach.
